Product Details

Keruing, known scientifically as Dipterocarpus spp., originates from South East Asia. The heartwood ranges from a light to medium yellowish brown to a darker reddish brown.
Keruing is homogenous and bland in appearance but offers great durability. It can be used in a variety of heavy-duty applications.
Keruing generally works well with hand or machine tools, though silica present in the wood tends to dull cutters.
This timber is durable, making it suitable for heavy-duty uses.
