Teak, known scientifically as Tectona grandis, is renowned for its extreme durability, strength, appearance, and stability. It is highly desirable for ship-building, decking, and exterior joinery.
Teak is often considered the ultimate in quality and price. Our usual stock is plantation-grown.
Good – Teak works well with both hand and machine tools. It can be finished to a smooth surface and takes nails and screws well.
Teak is very durable, making it suitable for the most demanding exterior applications.

  • 40mm
  • 52mm
  • 80mm (subject to availability)

Specification: 100mm + wider, 1.85m & longer. Square Edge, Kiln Dried.

The density of Teak is approximately 655kg/m³.
Ideal for boatbuilding, decking, flooring, and furniture.
