Thermo Spruce & Thermowoods
Environmentally friendly and durable, perfect for a range of joinery and cladding applications
Product Details
Thermowood could be the world’s first truly green lumber resource that performs better, costs less, and looks just as good, if not better, than many alternative wood species and substitutes that have flooded the market.
The thermal modification process uses a higher temperature in a controlled environment to improve the lumber’s durability and stability. This process results in a deep and natural finish without damaging the environment. The enhanced durability and stability of Thermowood make it resistant to insect infestation and fungal attack. Typically produced from FSC material, Thermowood uses non-toxic chemicals in the thermal modification process.
Good – Thermo Spruce and Thermowoods work well with standard woodworking tools and techniques, producing a smooth finish.
